What this service is for
Microsoft 365 is bought by almost everyone and used well by comparatively few. The licences arrive, email moves across, and then the platform stalls: files scattered between OneDrive, Teams, and a surviving file server; permissions nobody can explain; a dozen Teams created for one project; and staff who still email attachments because that is what they know.
We treat modern workplace as an information architecture problem with a change management wrapper, not a licence deployment. Where does content live? Who can reach it, and how is that decided? What happens when someone joins, moves department, or leaves? Which processes should move out of email entirely?
The security layer is designed at the same time rather than bolted on afterwards. Conditional Access, device compliance, and data protection policies are far easier to introduce while you are already changing how people work, and they are considerably harder to retrofit once habits have set.
